DEPARTMENT: The Department of Music and Theatre Arts serves over 400 majors and minors supported by approximately 48 faculty and staff.  UW-Eau Claire has a large and respected Music Program, which includes a robust Composition Program.  The Department is highly regarded in the state and region and enriches the Eau Claire community while providing outstanding academic opportunities.  Faculty are active performers and researchers and are dedicated to innovative teaching.  Academic programs include the BM degree in performance and composition; the BME degree in instrumental and choral music education; the BA and BS degrees in music and musical theatre.  All degree programs are fully accredited by NASM.  Applicants are encouraged to peruse the Department’s website at www.uwec.edu/Mus-The and the Pablo Center’s website http://www.pablocenter.org/
